As a teenager, Ricky J began to build his reputation in the clubs of Montreal, Quebec and after 6 years ended up at #3 on the Canadian Billboard charts with his smash hit entitled, “No Means No”. He signed with a deal with Warner Bros. Records and released his debut album, “Lose Control.” He later left the record company and a year later signed with the independent Evolution Records, which allowed him to have more creative freedom. In 2004 he stepped away from making music and in 2007 he became the music director and developed A-List Entertainment with a close friends where they have hosted and planned some of the biggest celebrity parties in Canada.
