I’ve just had the pleasure of watching the latest episode of Once Upon A Time, ‘Selfless, Brave And True’.
Snow White/Mary Margaret learns that Pinocchio/August W. Booth has been in hiding and that he has been completely transformed into wood. Meanwhile, Emma is startled when Baelfire/Neal invites his fiancée, Tamara, to Storybrooke. However, it’s revealed that Tamara had been tracking down August since their first encounter in 2011, in which August, who learned that he was turning back to wood, had gone to see a healer called “The Dragon”, who promised him a cure if he delivered $10,000 to him.
After August steals the money from Tamara, Tamara succeeds in acquiring the potion that August got from The Dragon, whose fate would be sealed when she kills him as it turns out she is after magic, and she uses Neal to bring her to Storybrooke, where she kills August just as he is about to warn Emma. The Blue Fairy restored August back to life as Pinocchio, who is once again a boy.
Regina meets Greg, who she later learns is actually Owen, and now wants him out of Storybrooke, now that he has vowed to stay until he finds his father. It is also revealed that the fiancee that Greg has been giving Storybrooke’s secrets to, is Tamara. It’s also revealed that Hook is no longer locked up in New York (hurray!).
It was a great episode, that rounded off some unanswered questions surrounding August and the mysterious woman Greg was talking to, as well as providing some new interesting ones – who is she? What exactly does she want? Who was ‘The Dragon’? I can’t wait for more.
Thanks for reading.
