Paget Brewster, Holly Taylor and Greg Finley star in the thriller film The Witch Files. A group of girls find themselves all in detention for different things. They soon come to find that one of the girls with them has some kind of powers. She proves herself to them by using those powers to set the fire alarm off which ends up getting them out of detention early. During their time together, they begin to realize these powers she has are stronger than they thought. The girls follow the witch into the woods where they begin to receive their own powers from witches past. This takes a turn for the worst when the girls gain control of the school and use the powers against those whom they dislike.
This film was actually really interesting to watch. It was creepy yet had a strange humor to it. It definitely reminded me of the older teen horror films which brings me back to the movies I used to watch growing up. I enjoying watching the transformation with the girls changing from strangers who started off in detention, ending up becoming friends and helping each other out. I really liked this film.
The Witch Files comes to DVD on October 9th, don’t miss it!
