America’s most-watched competitive cooking show MASTERCHEF (Wednesdays, 8:00PM-9:00PM ET/PT on FOX), announced today the launch of “Cooking With MasterChef,” a series of online cooking classes with lessons taught by former winners.
The “Cooking With MasterChef” online cooking class series is produced and available on premiere online educational platform Craftsy in partnership with Endemol Shine North America, producers of MASTERCHEF and MASTERCHEF JUNIOR.
“Cooking with MasterChef” provides two exclusive online experiences: “Homestyle Favorites” and “Restaurant Results.” Both classes are team-taught by Luca Manfé (Season 4 Winner), Claudia Sandoval (Season 6 Winner) & Shaun O’Neale (Season 7 Winner), providing a unique opportunity for home cooks to enjoy and learn from a variety of MASTERCHEF winners. Each class includes detailed instruction and step-by-step demonstrations, complete recipes and inspirational guidance from the winners themselves. With direction from America’s best home chefs, participants will master new techniques, experiment with fresh ingredients and create delicious, innovative dishes right at home.
“We couldn’t be more proud that everyone can now learn how to cook like a MASTERCHEF at home,” said Tamaya Petteway, SVP Brand and Licensing Partnerships at Endemol Shine North America. “Craftsy is the perfect fit for MASTERCHEF’s debut online classes, since just like many Craftsy users, the MASTERCHEF instructors started as home cooks.
“Homestyle Favorites” is an immersive online class geared toward elevating the skills of all home cooks. The instructors take their apron-winning recipes to new heights using the expertise they gained first-hand in the MASTERCHEF kitchen. Participants will learn how to make perfectly seared steaks, savory breakfast chilaquiles and zesty summer sauces, plus key techniques like how to season meat, basic knife skills and more — all while getting the inside dish behind three of the most popular MASTERCHEFs.
“Restaurant Results” empowers home cooks to create restaurant-worthy versions of the finale dishes that helped the instructors earn the title MASTERCHEF. Recipes include halibut, savory short ribs and a special riff on hibiscus poached pears. Through an intensive, interactive online experience, participants will discover insider techniques for preparation and plating, plus tips and tools required for professional results.
The cost of each course is $39.99 and includes lifetime access to 2+ hours of video content, downloadable course materials and direct interaction with instructors and fellow home cooks in an online messaging forum.
