Chicago Pd is back with an All new episode a missing woman, a civilian acting like he’s a cop, and a drug deal gone wrong. If your a Linstead shipper like I am you will absolutely love last nights episode of Chicago PD.
The episode starts off where Burgess and Tay are in pursuit of a suspect breaking into a car registered to a missing girl. Halstead arrives on the scene to assist when a neighbor frantically races out of her house reporting a males bloody body on her back porch. ( who’s this mysterious man and does he have anything to do with the missing car owner.?)
The mystery man turns out to be Nathan the boyfriend of missing Sarah Murphy. Nathan was badly beaten and taken by ambulance to Chicago Med. ( Will Nathan make it? Does he know where the whereabouts of his gf?)
Back at the station house Sgt Voight, Lindsay, Halstead, Olinsky, Ruzek and Dawson discuss the details of the disappearance of Sarah Murphy. ( They found the car now where’s Sarah?!)
Time for some Linstead! Jay begins telling
Erin about the apartments he’s found and wants her to check them out when she tells him that she wants him to move into her place with her and that she’s completely in love with him. ( I know us Linstead shippers are very excited about this big move).
Halstead & Lindsay meet with Sarah Murphy’s parents and get all details possible for any whereabouts their daughter could be. While Voight & Olinsky and Ruzek search for Sarah in abbot so great neighborhood. Ruzek and Atwater follow up on a lead that may lead to the whereabouts of Sarah Murphy. Her boyfriend Nathan was seen buying drugs from a big time drug dealer in the neighborhood. ( Did Nathan have something to do with his girlfriends disappearance ?)
Olinsky & Voight bring in Michael Hudson for questioning about his drug dealing with Nathan from whom he learns that Nathan ripped him off with counterfeit money. (So the boyfriend pays the dealer with Monopoly money and now his girlfriend is missing could this be payback?)
Nathan is awake and badly beaten up ( I guess Hudsons guys did a number on him. ) ! Halstead and Lindsay question Nathan about what he remembers about the last time he saw Sarah. He says he left Sarah in the car. ( okay so we have a empty car and a missing girl. What is going on and where could Sarah be?)
Mouse drops a bombshell on Halstead that he might go back into the rangers. Halstead is upset and reminds him of the countless nights of sleep he used to have and tells him not to do it.
Voight & Olinsky are back in the neighborhood where Sarah was abducted Mouse informs Voight that he got a location of the missing Sarah Murphy! He hacked into her gps from her step tracker. ( Is she alive or deceased)
Halstead & Lindsay arrive to the location to find a single shoe, Sarah’s step tracker bracelet and on the bed a clump of blonde hair. ( doesn’t look to great for Sarah.)
Voight, Olinsky, Burgess and Tae learn from a witness that she saw a blonde girl get pulled out of the car while a man was filming the incident. ( The wannabe police officer Trent.)
After Voight pays a visit to Trent he sees the video and it shows Sarah Murphy being dragged out of her car into a blue van!
After running the video footage and getting a facial recognition they squad have a hit! The man with a lengthy rap sheet was the guy on the video throwing Sarah in a van. Halstead reveals that the van was spotted! ( Will the squad be able to save Sarah)
The whole team arrive but when the door holding Sarah Murphy and her abductor is kicked in shots are fired! Voight sees that their is a gun held to Sarah’s head! ( What kinda plan will he come up with to save Sarah and will it be too late?! )
Halstead saves the day! Just as Sarah was almost killed.. Shots are fired and Sarah Murphy is saved!
Mouse informs Voight that he wants to go back in the army but he needs a favor.. Voight to lie for him on a felony charge to disappear .
Now Linstead shippers this is a huge episode for us! Jay & Erin finally tell each other they ” I love you” and are moving in together! The episode leaves off where they are full steam ahead in each other’s arms!
I cannot wait to see what else is in store for our Favorite couple.
