The show begins with all of the returned in a hypnotic trance while walking to and standing in front of the bar where Rachel is staying. As they’re staring at the window Rachel begins to have contractions. Fred notices this and fires a shot into the air which makes them snap out of the trance. Even the returned who are imprisoned were in the trance. As of now the cause is unknown. James has an idea of what may have happened and visits Rachel. When he does he notices a flower in her room that looked the same as the one he and Bellamy saw out in the field where Bellamy had his vision. Convinced that it was all connected, and that every one of the returned had a role to play, he begins to search for Margaret, with Bellamy offering to help. Meanwhile Jacob tells James about how Margaret made Barbara disappear. When James visits Margaret, she recognizes him from when she was a little girl and tells him his work is just tricks. Though skeptical she makes him a deal. If he can get them from being locked up she’ll tell him how she was able to make Barbara disappear. And like Jim Jones,James has killed every one of the returned at the facility with poisoned communion wine. Angela puts the blame on Bellamy though he had nothing to do with it. Now suspecting James is up to something, Bellamy tells Fred to take her somewhere safe. The returned who died at the facility have now returned in the woods of Arcadia…Margaret and James included. Scary right? He asks her to keep her end of the deal, and tell him the secret of how she made Barbara disappear.. When she asks him why, he says it’s up to them to rid the world of Rachael’s baby, He believes the baby will bring about the end of the world. James gathers everyone at the church, and is convinced Margaret will come around. She goes to Henry’s to talk to Jacob. Jacob says the baby giving him intense migraines. This frightens Margaret and pushes her to the church to tell James she knows where the baby is. Bellamy tries to stop James, but the returned have his back. They force him to send a text saying that he’s at the church and no one is there and all is well. In the final scene Margaret is seen arriving at Henry’s.
