Margaret believes the first returned came back to punish the Langstons. She tells Jacob she’s tried to help the living, but it’s all backfired and wants to go away. Jacob tells her he’s going with her. At that moment Fred and Henry have found them and bring Jacob back home. Margaret being the great Mother she is tells her sons deep down she’s always hated them. Bellamy reveals to Jenny that he’s her baby brother and is going to live with him. At a cafe with Jenny, the new character finally gets a name. He’s Preacher James and a friend of Jenny’s. In the final scene, Bellamy sleep walks into a field. While there he hears locusts underground. They fly up into a shape of a tree. The same tree that was on James back.
