I’ve just had the pleasure of watching the season finale of Once Upon A Time, ‘And Straight On ‘Til Morning’.
Captain Hook and Smee welcome Baelfire to the Jolly Roger. Hook agrees to protect Bae, knowing he is Rumplestilskin’s son, and to not let Peter Pan find out Bae is in the ship. Bae finds out that Hook and Milah ran away together and wants to leave the ship. Hook gives him to the Lost Boys, but when they see who it is they say he can live. The wanted boy in the picture was Henry. Also, a washed-up Neal/Baelfire is found by Mulan, Aurora and Phillip.
In Storybrooke, Greg and Tamara start the trigger. Hook decides to go with Emma, Regina, David and Mary Margaret. Regina uses all of her power to try to stop the trigger, which will give everyone a chance to flee, but she will die. Emma, Hook, David, Mary Margaret and Henry try to figure out how to get everybody back to fairytale land without dying. Archie and Mary Margaret decide to help Regina, as it’s the right thing to do, and everyone agrees, however Hook steals the magic bean.
Mr. Gold helps Lacey remember she is Belle, after the Blue Fairy finally came up with a spell. Emma and Regina finally manage to stop the trigger by working together – as their joint magic has incredible power. Storybrooke goes back to normal. Greg and Tamara kidnap Henry and use their bean to go to flee. Gold agrees to help bring Henry back, and tells Belle to stay behind and use a spell he has to make Storybrooke invisible again, though it means they won’t be able to find their way back. The season ends when Emma, Mary Margaret, David, Regina and Mr. Gold teaming up with Hook – Mr. Gold uses a spell to find where Henry has been taken – Neverland. Using the bean to take them to Neverland, Mr. Gold suggests that Tamara and Greg are working for someone extremely dangerous, but they head off to save Henry.
It was a brilliant finale filled with twists, turns and plenty of emotion. It left a fantastic cliff hanger for next season. I can’t wait to see what happens.
Thanks for reading.
