I’ve just enjoyed the latest episode of Revenge, ‘Illumination’.
This week picks up exactly where it left off – Amanda’s foster brother Eli has shown up. He stirs up a whole load of trouble, figures out that Emily is Amanda, and vice versa, and introduces himself to all of the key players (except for Aiden). Meanwhile, Victoria and Conrad create a charity in Amanda’s name to hide all of their money from the government in case they’re investigated again.
Luckily, Emily finds out, and uses Aiden and Nolan in an attempt to bankrupt the Graysons. Aiden is promoted the the Grayson Global board, with backing from Daniel and Conrad, who are using him as a scapegoat for The Initiative. Jack gets clues about the real plan, and starts taking measures to get revenge of his own (which really doesn’t suit him). We see flashbacks of Nolan and David Clarke, and the deal that they made to keep Amanda/Emily safe. When Nolan eventually tries to hack the Grayson’s account, he discovers that they’ve protected it using the man that sealed David Clarke’s fate – a legendary hacker (and nemesis of sorts to Nolan) – The Falcon.
It was a great episode, once again furthering the overall Revenge plot, whilst also throwing in the usual amount of intrigue, mystery, and diversions. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next episode.
Thanks for reading.
