On Wed, Jan 14th 2009 G Tom Mac (the original artist of the song Cry Little Sister from the movie Lost Boys) joined Amy, Jess and Ashley to discuss G’s new album “Thou Shall Not Fall” as well as a new TV Show “Lost Boy Found” with Corey Haim. G Tom Mac, thoroughly charmed us as we discussed our favorite songs on the album and had a chance to play them for the public.
Later on in the interview we were joined by actor Corey Haim in one of his last radio interviews before his untimely death.
To this day, this interview is one of our favorite of all time. Both G Tom Mac and Corey Haim were absolutely intriguing, taking the time to speak with callers and have frank discussions about music, art, the battle of addiction and the struggles of ongoing recovery. Corey Haim was one of the most honest and friendly people we have ever met. He continues to inspire and touch our hearts even years after his death.
G Tom Mac, has since joined us for several more interviews on The VRO since this first one and each and every time he does, it is a pleasure and an honor to be able to speak to him regarding his musical career. We are continually blown away by his talent and professionalism. We look forward to having him on for many years to come.
